Jessy and her then Boyfriend Sasha (background dancer for NoA), had a baby together. This was not planned, but Sasha and Jessy were exited to get Cheyenne. Jessy never had the idea to leave the band, before and after the birth of her child. She thought that she can be ready after the Birth and has already the support of her family to care for Cheyenne till to these days.
But the Music Company didn't believe that, and according to Sandy, in a podcast, the Label didn't want Jess in the band. "4 are a better fit in the Taxi, than 5" this was the statement of the co-founder of germany's Popstars- Holger Roost Marcias. The label asked Lucy, Nadja and Vanessa what they think about Jess having a Baby while being a No Angel. All of them were in disbelieve of why Jess made this decision, because that would mean for them, that the band will be over if another member had a Baby. Another child would mean much care taking for them and no time for further band-projects, which would be the end. Nadja was at first against it, because she saw herself and her situation with her child in Jess, but as Jess told her what her plans are to keep good care of her child and also still participate as a member, gave Nadja no worries to decide against Jessica, but the label were angry by her different state of mind and that was the reason why Nadja stood by her first reaction. Sandy was never informed about the label talking to Vany, Nadja and Lucy, because they knew how close she was with Jessica. "They told Sandy, they were better without Jessy and would keep the Band's success. So, they instructed Jess to step away from the band.
They hid this reason, so everyone would think that this was Jessica's idea. when Jess went on with her solo career, Jess was seen together with the angels interviews etc. but soon Jess couldn’t even sit together with her bandmates or seen together.
Jess thinks, that the reason behind it could be to prevent rumours about Jess returning to the band, but even if that was the thought behind it, this idea gave the fans and Jess no chance of a reunion either way.
So It is clear that the label is responsible for this situations.
If you have the old 2002/3 Bravo, Yam Magazines you can read in every interview that she would have been happy to join the Group again, and that she had no problem with it.
