Oh, Holy Night released in 19th Century and was written by a french poet, Placide Cappeau and was composed by Adolphe Adam.
Eventhough Placide Cappeau was in denial of believing in god and unusual magic, he still wrote lyrics about christian music.
The Song was first introduced in 1847 at Roquemaure in France. At first the song was banned in catholic Church, due to the writer's great interest in material and money possession and because he was a jew. But the lyrics is full of Hope and Believe in the goods, which was a big push through and after the war.
